A Friend Portrait, and A Cat Portrait

I sketched A friend of ours while we played a game tonight. Games are great for this, as people always cycle through a few different positions while playing, and return to them quite predictably. This was the “I’m looking down at my cards and resources” pose. Then there’s the ”I’m looking at the central board to see what options are available” pose. A short bit of talking, making conversation, and then a return to the pose above.

I also began a portrait of some friend’s new cat, Toast, earlier in the day. This one is only half finished, and I’m honestly not sure if it’ll turn out or not. A bit more work on it and I think we’ll be able to make a more confident prediction. Perhaps tomorrow. Anyways, that’s all for tonight.
