A Quick Landscape

I wanted a break from the portraits I've been focusing on, and I thought I'd like to do something with a bit more color today. So I found this photo from our trip up north last fall. The bright orange of the trees still makes me so happy. I'm supposed to be taking this next week off across all three jobs, but naturally we're in a winter weather advisory now so the chances of painting outside tomorrow are slim-to-none. So I may turn this into an actual painting tomorrow.

That actually sounds like a pretty good time.
