African Violet

I needed to let both paintings I'm currently working on dry a bit before returning to either of them, so today was a sketching day. Here's this nice little African Violet that I sketched today, in an effort to give the paintings some time. I'm getting so close to finishing both paintings. By next Tuesday, I'll be able to move on to any number of new paintings. And I can tell you that as much as I've enjoyed working on these, I've gone quite a bit longer time-wise than my attention can usually handle. I'm really stoked to move on to something new.
