Alva on the Cedar Chest

Hannah took this picture of Alva today and it was so perfect, I just had to sketch it. We're back to cat drawings being reasonably humbling for me - I don't think I nailed the likeness. but it looks like "a" cat, at least. And as I always tell my students, getting a drawing of a person (or cat) to look like "a" person (or cat) is a good 50% of the battle. Getting it to look like "the" person (or cat) is the other 50%. So maybe I'm 60% of the way there? I like that he looks happy, at least.
