Another Quick Kitty Sketch
I had very little Time to work on anything today, but I suppose the whole point of this 100 day exercise was to do something every day, even if it was just a small something. So my small something today is another Alva sketch, the reference of which was taken in around the same timeframe as yesterday's painted start. I really liked the layers of light/shadow/light/shadow present in the scene, and while I'd need to develop the background on this one a bit further to really get that feel here, I rather like the effect so far. I started out with a pencil to get the general proportions correct, and then inked over it with a brush pen to get the dramatic light/shadow. Then, as I was erasing the pencil, the eraser caught and gifted me with the dramatic wrinkles in the page at the bottom left...
