Apple Orchard

I was telling Hannah today that I wasn’t sure what exactly to do next on the painting of her holding Alva by the window. She then proceeded to say something very wise - “Just start a new painting, wait on the other one until you know what to do next. Don’t just mess around on the other one and ruin it.” So I did what she said. I know - it felt weird to me too… I found an old photo of an apple orchard from probably a decade ago. I‘m really liking it so far! Perhaps I’ll get the chance to finish it this week.
