Back to Flowers

I thought it might be fun to try a floral painting today, as a nice quick sketch since I don't currently have anything I'm preoccupied with. I've said this before, but I feel like floral paintings are perfect for little one-shot test paintings. Bright colors, fun little flowers and leaves. And it's almost always a sure-fire way to get me hating myself. Not this time - I was just having fun with it. I suppose it also helps that it's been months since last time I attempted a floral painting, and I've probably gotten a bit better.

Anyways, it was a fun sketch. Maybe by next week I'll have gotten over my desire to go outside and paint. At least for a bit.
