Bands of Light

I really liked the foreground shadow and band of bright sunlight across the far field In this reference. i kinda pushed the color on this one, largely because the original is such a blue/grey color scheme. Not entirely sure the green band between the clouds and the blue of the sky Is a feature I’d keep In a finished painting, but that’s what a color study is for.
