Barn Sketch II

Another one of the cool barn today, and then we’re on to new things this week! What - I’m not sure yet! but we’ll figure it out. Probably some oil painting - I wasn’t able to do any on the quick trip up north, and that sounds like fun.

This morning as I was packing up to leave, I looked back over at the barn and then up at the sky, and saw this pretty neat rainbow. I took a few pictures, hoping they might capture the rainbow. I thought about trying to capture that rainbow in the sketchbook, but realized pretty quickly that trying to capture the chromatic hues of a rainbow in pencil might be a bit difficult… It is nice when I have those thoughts before I put in a moderate amount of work.
