Barnyard Sheep
Here's another sketch from our trip two days ago. This was a barnyard right by the road, with sheep bunched around the feed troughs. I love the abstract shapes the sheep make against each other and the feed troughs.
You know that bit that's circulated the internet for years about the husband that drives, and the wife that gets in the passenger seat with her three beverages and a blanket and gets to be the passenger princess? Well I'm definitely the passenger princess... just minus the blanket. I'll sit in the passenger seat with my phone on my lap, and try to snap photos whenever I see something interesting from the window. If I'm driving, I always have this sense that I'm missing out on getting any good shots because I have to drive, and I don't get to focus on the fun views because of all the stupid traffic. So Hannah and I have a deal where on longer trips Hannah drives while it's light out, so I can snap pictures, and I drive when it's dark out, so her stigmatism doesn't bother her. It's a pretty decent system. No complaints from me, anyways.
