Beach Day

Well it wasn’t until we got into sleeping bags that I remembered that I hadn’t taken pictures of yesterday’s sketches. So it got pushed to today. First day so far I’ve missed. But sometimes circumstances get in the way of a perfect streak, and I like the idea of “don’t break the chain for more than one day” and having some grace with yourself when things don’t work out. Anyways, on to the art.

We want to the beach for a while yesterday as it was in the 90s, which seems unreasonably hot for up here. I brought the sketchbook along and drew some of the shorelines and islands I could see.
