Cabin Fever

Ok, so it's not exactly cabin fever, as I'm not stuck in the house, or on a sailing ship with a bunch of muppets or something, but I'm growing somewhat unsatisfied with the indoor painting life. And my backlog of photos for painting, but I'm guessing that part will eventually pass. I tell myself (and sometimes others) the same thing every year at this time, but I would really like for this year to be the year that I do a lot more painting outdoors from life.

The reference photo for this one was from a bright, green, early summer day. It felt like exactly the sort of day I'd like to be painting.
