Color Chart 1

I got the first of the color charts done today. I started with Indian Yellow - a nice dark, transparent yellow orange. The columns start with just the color singularly, and each subsequent column is the color mixed with each other color in the working palette, with the color in question (Indian Yellow, in this case) predominating. The top row is the color straight from the tube, mixed together. The bottom row is just off-white of that color mixture, the middle row is halfway between, and rows 2 and 4 are halfway between the middle and the outer rows. Not my favorite way of spending time in the studio, but last time I did this was 15 years ago, so I thought I was due a refresher. The cat seemed to think it was interesting, though…
