Drawing.

For the month of November, I’ve been trying to spend each week focusing on one specific aspect of painting. The first week of November, I was working on the start of my painting process. While I was doing that, I began to notice that my drawing was a bit wanting. In this case, I am referring to “drawing” as getting the right things in the right places on the canvas. I thought this week I would work on getting a bit more focused on my drawing skills. I’m starting out actually drawing, pencil and paper and whatnot. I think this quick drawing might be a bit more accurate than yesterday’s but there’s still a bit further to go, I think. As the week goes on, my plan is to transition to more “drawing” in paint - getting my paintings more accurately drawn in. I’ve got a few fun ideas about how to do this, and I’ll be exploring them this week.
