Glazing

I understand "glazing" is now a term the kids use to refer to buttering someone up.

This is not what my title is about.

This is about the thin, transparent layer of paintI applied over the bottom half of the painting, which I then painted a bit more onto. The end result is a pretty foliage-looking effect, that's also a bit darker in value than before. I also glazed a warmer yellow over the light coming from the windows as well.

So there may be a few more touch-ups to finish the painting, but I'd say overall it's pretty finished at this point.
