Hannah and Alva

I had exactly zero gumption today. But I found a picture i took last week of Hannah and our cat Alva cuddling on the couch, and thought I’d do a quick sketch of the two of them. I also included a plant leaf that the cat very much likes to box, and a spider plant that has taken to looking quite ragged since Alva’s arrival in our house… It was a quick sketch, but it was fun trying to get the essentials down just enough to describe the scene, without including any additional detail. I feel like this might be fun to develop into a watercolor painting. No promises though.
