Hot Tea

I snapped this picture of Hannah at work today - I absolutely loved the feel of the light spilling out onto her desk, and her pose with the mug of tea up to her mouth. This sketch doesn't do justice to the lighting effect so much, but it does get the "drawing" down. Just getting objects into the general right place. Next step would be a color/value sketch, which is where the lighting effect would really shine. Perhaps that will be tomorrow's project.

I'm still chipping away at the studio, getting it tidied up and ready to work in again. Hopefully by tomorrow it'll be back in working shape.
