Ink drawings and Procreate Overlays

I doodled this sailboat in drawing class yesterday, and snapped a quick picture of it today. I used it as the base for some digital Procreate sketching trying out the new brushes. I did a few different versions, trying the oil and watercolor brushes. So far, the new brushes seem really nice! Finally, I did this quick sketch of Alva with a brush pen. Ink is always challenging, as there’s no way to erase or correct your mistakes. For me, that means being very careful at the start of the sketch to make sure I’m getting all the major areas laid out exactly where they should be. I still messed up a bit, but I think I was able to save it overall. It at least looks like a cat?
