Last Page of the Sketchbook

I finished off the last page of this sketchbook with a quick sketch from our winter hike on Presque Isle today. I tried a single-line fountain pen sketch, where the pen doesn’t leave the paper and the whole thing is done in one squiggly line. I finished it up with a few spots of brush pen where there were darker accents necessary. There Were times during the walk where it felt like we might have strayed into Narnia, and would see a lamppost and a faun with an umbrella any moment...
