Lifeguard Post
Earlier this past week I found myself in downtown St. Joe waiting while Hannah was in a meeting. I took a stroll down to the pier to see what the beachfront was like. There were some big bulldozers clearing sand from parking lots and beaches - getting the beach ready for the warm season. I really liked the stacking of successively larger visual elements, and love the juxtaposition of actually big vs actually smaller objects at different levels of visual depth. It's a fun visual puzzle to think through. It made it a fun sketch to try, though I think I could've done a bit better on the perspective for the pier channel. It makes the square lighthouse feel a bit out of place.
