Little Floral Sketch

Because I must really enjoy torturing myself, I decided to try another floral sketch. The big thing I told myself with this one was that It was not about finishing - it was about exploring. It was about playing - messing around with the painting. Feeling out what worked and what didn’t. And you know what - it was fun. It was exactly what a painted sketch is supposed to be. It’s fun sometimes to just sketch without the need for it to turn out. It was fun to do a painting of this little weed sticking up out of a parking lot - a little unobtrusive thing, perfect for this sketch.
