Logs By the Old Shed
Last summer we were fortunate enough to get an old friend of my uncle's to do a bit of selective logging on the property - getting the unhealthy trees out of the way and making the woods more amenable for the other trees. Over the summer, he got a good 2 or 3 truck-loads of cut logs out of the woods. They were piled up in long rows in front of the old shed.
I tried to capture true things about the scene that I loved. I loved the contrast of the vertical boards of the shed, and the horizontal stacks of logs. I loved The post with the address leaning against the shed. And I loved The old clothesline post in the background - made by my grandfather from old railroad and electrical parts. I think mostly I just love this place, and documenting anything new about it is always a fun time.
