Lots of Sketching

It’s been a truly exhausting week, and today was no exception to that. I did, however, get a decent amount of creative stuff done today. I did a quick compositional sketch for the painting you see above in my sketchbook, followed by a few brush-pen sketches from memory of some of my favorite subjects to draw - a skull (great for learning head proportions and facial features) and lilies. Then, once I got home, I worked on this smaller sketchy painting of up north while we were up there this summer.
