More Portraits

It's been a week, and it's only halfway over. I had enough wherewithal to do a quick digital portrait sketch tonight - trying to keep reinforcing new ways of seeing and thinking about portraits. I've been trying to focus more on big general shapes in the head, and layer specific facial features and unique characteristics on top of that. It can be a bit scary not stating some of those things early, but if all you focus on is the individual features, then you're left trying to tie them together, instead of them being natural and foundational.
