My Two Favorite Models

We were in Chicago for work (and then fun) all day today. So as I was looking for an image to sketch reasonably quickly for today’s drawing/painting/sketch, I came across this image of Hannah and Alva. Hannah’s been on of my favorite models to draw and paint since we started dating about 15 years ago, but Alva has rocketed up the rankings over the last year as well (I‘m honestly not sure what percentage of this blog/newsletter he’s starred in since I started, but I wouldn’t be surprised to find it’s in the double digits). So when I found this image again, I figured I‘d give it a quick sketch. What fun - a two-fer!
