Not Alva

Today is another quick cat sketch, this time of my parent's cat, River. Mom has a photo that she'd like painted of River, and I thought it might be nice to get a few sketches done before I try my hand at a painting. So here's the first sketch. It was a bit weird drawing a cat that wasn't Alva for a change, but it turned out ok. I think maybe it's a bit easier drawing a short-haired cat?
