Old Barn

Today’s block-in is of an old barn that I had always intended to paint, but never gotten around to. A few years ago they actually literally moved a road around a bit, and I lost access to this view of the barn. I thought I wouldn’t ever be able to paint it, but as I was meandering through my photo album today I found a few old photos of the barn from years ago. So I figured I’d give it a shot and see how a quick start sketch would go. It’s pretty neat. I like it. Probably mostly because I thought I’d never be able to do a painting of this place. Neat.
