Painting the Cat

I started painting Alva into more than just the grey blob that he was yesterday. I think he’s coming along ok, but he’s the most difficult thing I’ve tried to draw and paint for a long time. So I’m gonna keep sneaking up on his likeness a little bit at a time, and eventually he’ll be right there on the canvas. Just 1400 more sessions. But I’ll get there eventually…
