I did another quick sketch of one of the pear trees in the yard today - mostly because it was directly in line-of-sight this afternoon. I really love the "Y" shape the tree makes, and the graceful curves to the right each of the branches makes as they grow upwards. It's always a fun tree to draw and paint. The picture below shows my view of the scene this afternoon. As a bonus, you get Alva peering at you from around the corner of his tent in the window. This is his usual afternoon napping spot. That's his usual look of curious disdain for whatever it is I'm getting up to while he's napping.
