Peony Update

The peonies have grown enough that they're finally succumbing to gravity. They droop a bit more each day. I think we're looking at end of this week or early next week for actual peony blooms. It's been fun getting to see the peony progression in a bit more detail this year. I'm not sure it'll help me make a better painting, but I've always found that more context really helps me connect to a thing better. And more personal connection to a thing usually translates to better work, in my experience.
