Portrait Practice

This coming Friday evening, 01 May, I'm participating in The Box Factory's annual "Face Off" - an event where about 15 artists paint portraits from life for about three hours and invite the public in to watch. I tend to not want to do a terrible job, so I've been practicing a bit more than I usually do. I've been hitting up the Wednesday night portrait class as often as possible, and trying my hand at some portraits when I'm at home too. This was the last portrait session before the Face Off on Friday, so I made sure to attend. The end-result was good tonight, so hopefully that bodes well for Friday
