Portrait Class Again
Just one portrait tonight instead of the multiple portrait sketches I’ve been doing. I wanted to take a bit more time and see what I can do in a few hours instead of one hour. I like the results. The drawing aspect (getting things in the right spots) went pretty smoothly. No major changes needed, aside from painting the eyes too small the first time, and needing to repaint them. The paint application was less smooth than I was hoping for, and I had to correct for a bit too much yellow in the painting (it might still be a bit too on the yellow side, but believe me, it’s much better than it was), but it all worked out.

Deets.
Also, here’s the two versions of the forest path paintings that I did a few weeks back side by side - I had to take some stuff out of the drying rack to make room for tonight’s portrait, and these were the two that I grabbed. Thought it was pretty cool to see them by each other.
