Portrait Night

It’s portrait night, and I was fully intending to go to class tonight. I was all excited about getting to paint a head from life in oils - it’s such a unique blend of fun, challenge and complete struggle. But apparently I didn’t sleep enough last night, and I sat down on the couch for a bit, and the next thing I knew I was waking up and it was time for me to be in class painting... So I decided maybe I should stay home tonight and take it easy. But seeing as Wednesday night is portrait night, I did this Procreate portrait sketch anyways. It’s never quite as fun from photo reference, but it’s better than nothing at all, and I got to keep sitting on the couch while I did this one…
