Portrait Night

Wednesday night is portrait night. This is known.

I got a chance to go to the portrait drawing class at The Box Factory tonight. Fortunately the class I teach in the afternoon/evening is on Tuesday/Thursday this semester, so I technically have the ability to go to this class more often. When the weather is alright. The past few weeks it seems like Wednesday night has been the exact time Mother Nature decides to give us more snow, so I haven't been since before Christmas, I think. It was nice to get back there. And since I've been working on portraits for the past few weeks, the work went smoothly for once! As has been my practice the past few times I've been to portrait night, I did two quick portraits instead of one long one. The first one is always a good warm-up, and the second is always looser and more flow-y.
