Portrait of a Friend

We got to spend some time tonight with friends who just moved back to the area. It was really good to hang out with them, catch up, play a few games and watch some IT Crowd. While we were watching Roy and Moss mess with Jen, I grabbed my sketchbook and drew my friend Aaron. I’ve always loved drawing a profile, and he has some seriously cool glasses that were super fun to draw as well. I kinda wish I’d spent a few more minutes to push this portrait further along, but there’s also something really fresh and energetic about a quick ten minute sketch.
