Portrait Practice

The portrait practice continues! I found a good photo reference on Pinterest and gave it a go during painting class today. It was also a good chance to try out a few new brushes that arrived in the mail. Not sure if it's the new brushes or the method I've been trying to get better at, but I'm rather pleased with the results. I'm hoping I'll have the chance to go to portrait night tomorrow evening and reinforce the stuff I've been learning with the added challenge of painting from life. We'll see.
