Portrait Trio

I got a chance to go to portrait class tonight. I decided to try to paint more like I quick-sketch with pencil. I’m not sure I was entirely successful but I like the results, and I got closer to that goal than I ever have before. And 3 painted portrait studies in 3 hours might be a new personal record. So there’s that. Progression, but always room for improvement. Take what you learned this time, and apply it next time to learn even more.

Not a bad way to spend an evening.
