Quick Portrait

I don’t have much to say about this one, other than that I was sitting reading a thing about how choosing to life the life that you want doesn’t really mean “change your life entirely to do what you want”, and means more “make sure every decision you make points you more towards living the life you want“. I suppose it’s a subtle distinction, really, but I think it’s an important one. I got up and grabbed my sketchbook to do a sketch after reading this, because we’re gone for the weekend and I’m away from my paints, but I can still make the decision to do some sketching to keep me engaged in the world of art while I can’t do anything more substantial.
