Sunset Fields

Here's part two of my "Farmlands at Dusk" mini-series. Still a bit loose and sketchy, due to the smaller nature of the three panels, but I feel like the bits of detail I did include here are a bit more involved than last painting. So there's improvement, which is all I can ask for. Doing these paintings, I'm reminded that I'm not too big on working in series. At least not one-after-another-after-another. Turns out I like a bit of distance between related paintings. But I think I'll try to get that last painting done tomorrow and move on to something else. It's spring - I'm starting to feel the call towards a flower painting or two. Not in series, though.
