Sunset Geese

Last fall at about this time, picking up our CSA box from the farm at sunset I caught sight of all the geese in the field, and took a quick video. Today, when looking through my photo album for a scene to paint I found this one again and decided today would be the day to paint it. It went a lot better (and faster) than I thought it would. One of those paintings that just flowed out. I’ve got a bit left to do to finesse the geese, and then it’s just finishing bits and pieces. We’ll see how it goes on Wednesday.
