Sunset Over the Old Bridge

I’ve always really liked the view over the lake as you head out of town here, and the pilons from the old railroad bridge are such an interesting feature to me. I’ve wanted to do some form of painting of this scene for a long time now, so we’ll throw this one in the bucket of “experimental color sketches”. I think my favorite part of this reference image was the sunset light effect. I love trying to capture a good light effect.
