Taking out the Trash
After whining about my painting yesterday, I had a pretty good painting day today. I think I’m about 70% of the way through this one. I’m calling it “Taking out the Trash”. This is from our recent trip up north - the evening we got there. We caught a wonderful sunset right as we arrived, and Hannah’s dad walked out to the road to pick up the trash can that had fallen over. I‘m changing the facts slightly to fit my painting. In the world of my painting, he’s taking the trash out to the road. I don’t know why this is important to me, but it seems that’s the thing about this one that I’m talking about. I guess because I don’t really have anything else to talk about with this one - it’s just been smooth sailing. Might be because I thought about how I was going to paint it before I started, and came up with a plan.
