The Lake in Silhouette

So last week driving home from portrait class, I came across the perfect scene of the lake. Yellow, transitioning to red, with a deep blue lake beneath. Primary colors silhouetted by the black shapes of trees buildings and cars. A few spots of light from lamps and car lights. I love this scene, and I am totally going to be painting it in my Intro to Watercolor class, starting in a few weeks. I feel like watercolor is the right medium for the scene.
