Try Not to Skip Two Days in A Row

I didn't post anything yesterday. I think I pulled a 15 hour day at work, getting ready for the opening. Sometimes things happen, and a daily practice gets interrupted. I try to have a "try not to skip two days in a row" policy, instead of a "never skip for any reason" policy. So even though today was a 14 hour day, I'm gonna post this quick sketch of Bob painting out under a big old oak tree. I wasn't a big fan of much of the reference image, except for the tree and the idea of the image. So I moved him and his easel around a bit, and found something I like a bit better. So I guess this quick sketch sorta turned into a compositional study for the scene. Maybe it'll go a bit further than I initially intended.
