Yellow House Sketch

I’ve always loved this pale yellow house, and it’s even better in the winter. I really want to do a painting of this old house, so I figured a quick sketch tonight might help me figure out what‘s going on with it, in preparation for the painting. I Also really love the snow-covered branches - they really add some nice vectors into the composition. I like the idea of using them to help direct attention around the painting. I also really like the strong contrast - everything is quite a dark value or quite a light value.
