Watercolor Starts

It's been a while since I've done a proper watercolor painting. I tried that Poppy painting a few months ago, but that was the first time in ages. So I thought that instead of using oils for the second painting I had planned for this week, I'd start a watercolor painting. I got the house sketched in (it was more precise drawing and required a little bit of re-working), and all the big shapes plotted. So now I'm mostly on to a lot of fiddly little brush marks and details. I'd say that visually, 90% of the painting is laid in properly, but I'm only about 50% finished. That last 10% really does take a lot of thought and time to get right.
